    Who We Are

Welcome to Middleton Senior Center
Hours: The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday 8:30-
4:30pm.

History
The Middleton Senior Center was established in 1975. It was located
in the historic train depot in downtown Middleton for approximately
25 years. It moved into a renovated building at 7448 Hubbard
Avenue
in 2001.

The Middleton Senior Center is accredited by the National Institute
of Senior Centers and the Wisconsin Association of Senior Centers.

Purpose
The purpose of the Senior Center is:
  • To coordinate programs and services for older adults that help
    maintain their dignity and independence.
  • To provide older adults with a variety of educational and
    recreational opportunities.
  • To provide information and referrals to older adults and their
    families.
  • To provide opportunities for older adults to influence policies,
    procedures and programs of the Middleton Senior Center.
  • To facilitate civic engagement of older adults within the
    community.

Funding
The Middleton Senior Center is a Department of the City of
Middleton. The City is the primary funding source for the Senior
Center. The Center also receives a portion of its budget from Dane
County. Participants most often pay the cost of classes and programs.
Some assistance may be provided based on financial need
.
