Chairman Sonnentag convened the joint meeting at 6:02 p.m.
2. Motion to Convene into Closed Session pursuant to Sections 19.85(1)(e), Wisconsin Statutes: (e) for the Deliberation of or Negotiation for the Purchase of Public Properties, the Investing of Public Funds or Conducting Other Specific Business, whenever Competitive or Bargaining Reasons Require a Closed Session. The Plan Commission and Community Development Authority will discuss negotiation of a development prospect for Downtown Middleton at the former Middleton Antiques Mall building, corner of Parmenter St. and Hubbard Ave.
Moved by Wexler, seconded by DiPiazza for the CDA, and moved by Zellers, seconded by Elskamp for the Plan Commission, to convene into closed session pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e), Wisconsin Statutes: (e) for the Deliberation of or Negotiation for the Purchase of Public Properties, the investing of Public Funds or Conducting Other Specific Business, whenever Competitive or Bargaining Reasons Require a Closed Session. Moved by Wexler, seconded by DiPiazza, for the CDA to reconvene into open session. Motion carried 4-0. Moved by Elskamp, seconded by Zellers, for the Plan Commission to reconvene into open session. Motion carried 6-0.
4. Presentation by Architect of Design for Development Prospect in Downtown Middleton at the former Middleton Antiques Mall building, corner of Parmenter St. and Hubbard Ave.
The architect for the project provided a concept plan and elevations for design revisions.
5. Concept Approval of Design for Development Prospect in Downtown Middleton at the former Middleton Antiques Mall building, corner of Parmenter St. and Hubbard Ave.
Moved by Wexler, seconded by Hubbard, to grant concept approval to this project as presented. Motion carried.
6. Resolution to Determine Boundaries and to Approve Project Plan for Redevelopment District No. 3 (CDA only)
Moved by DiPiazza, seconded by Zellers, to approve the Resolution to determine boundaries and to approve the project plan for Redevelopment District No. 3. Motion carried 4-0.
