Moved by Wexler, seconded by Simon, to approve the minutes of 2-12-08. Motion carried 6-0.
2. Motion to convene into Closed Session pursuant to Section 19.85(1)(e), Wisconsin Statutes: (e) for the Deliberation of or Negotiation for the Purchase of Public Properties, the Investing of Public Funds or Conducting Other Specific Business, whenever Competitive or Bargaining Reasons Require a Closed Session. The Community Development Authority will discuss consideration of purchasing properties in Downtown Middleton.
Moved by DiPiazza, seconded by Wexler, to convene into closed session in accordance with section 19.85(1)(e) of the Wis. Statutes for the purpose of discussing the potential purchase of properties in downtown Middleton. Motion carried 6-0.

3. Motion to reconvene into Open Session
Moved by Wexler, seconded by DiPiazza, to reconvene into open session. Motion carried 6-0.
4. Consideration of Purchasing Properties in Downtown Middleton
Following discussion, moved by DiPiazza, seconded by Barmore, to provide up to $27,200 in rent assistance for a period not to exceed one year for the Antique Mall. Motion carried 6-0.
5. Marketing/Advertising Proposal for Downtown Middleton
Following discussion, moved by Wexler, seconded by Simon, to approve the Downtown Marketing/Advertising concept as outlined by City Administrator Mike Davis in his memo of February 22. Motion carried 5-1, Dean opposed.
6. CDA Finances
No action was necessary.

Moved by Barmore, seconded by Wexler, to adjourn the meeting at 7:05 p.m. Motion carried 6-0.
