Important 2017 Tax Collection Information

The City tax rate is determined after the approval of the budget by the Common Council usually at the end of November or early December. In addition to your municipal taxes, your bill includes taxes levied by other taxing jurisdiction in which your property is located (Middleton Cross Plains Area School District, Madison Area College, Waunakee School District, Dane County and the State of Wisconsin).

  4. Pay Online:
    Pay your property taxes online.

    You will be routed to the Payment Service Network (PSN) website and will be guided through the necessary steps to make an online tax payment, credit cards are not accepted. Be careful to make online tax payments using the PROPERTY TAX link.  Tax payments made on utility accounts are invalid and will result in a corresponding credit to you utility account.  The cutoff for online payments is January 26th, 2018 to allow for the 7 day transaction window.
